At the airport, our first stop, was to get some foreign currency. We wanted a bit of each currency to get started with. You would think that would be easy. Maybe it was the clerk's first day, but it took forever. First lesson, get whatever cash you want ahead of time.

Of course we still needed to get cash later, but my bank ATM card worked fine.

Arrival in Prague

We arrived in Prague in the late afternoon. The taxi from the airport to our hotel was not too pricey. We were too tired to deal with buses or trams. Our room was not quite ready so we walked about. Got a late lunch and napped.

For dinner went to a cute little French bistro (Chez Marcel), 3 doors down from our hotel. I had Duck with caramelized onions and Bobbi had Coco Vin - Yum!. We also picked up some nice looking pastries for a late snack. Although we didn't buy any, the fruit looks terrific.
